Last Z: Survival Shooter Arctic Fishing Guide: Ice Pits, Rewards, and Ownership

Updated October 12, 2026

Arctic Fishing in Season 2

Arctic Fishing takes place during Season 2 Winter, which is also known as Everfrost. To advance your collection efficiently, target fish you have not registered, activate fresh catches, and exchange spare fish with other players.

Alliance battles for Ice Pits follow this schedule:

Contest daysStart time
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday11:00 Apocalypse Time

Use the active event countdown to determine when the contest begins in your local time zone.

Pick Your Pit Around Missing Fish

Each Ice Pit has its own selection of fish. Pit level alone should not determine where you spend your fishing supplies: a stronger pit may not contain the species needed for your next reward.

Before fishing:

  • Review your Fish Index for uncollected species.
  • Inspect the available pits to locate those fish.
  • Check your upcoming collection milestone so you know which catches will help you progress.

Your alliance does not need to control a pit for you to fish there. Ownership gives alliance members better odds of rare fish at that location, but those improved odds do not change which species the pit contains.

Turn Catches Into Collection Rewards

Fishing supplies come from daily event objectives and rewards. Spend them with a collection goal in mind, then register your results rather than leaving new catches inactive.

  • Gather fishing items through the event's daily activities and reward claims.
  • Visit a pit that offers an uncollected species.
  • Activate each newly acquired fish through the Fish Index to receive its reward.
  • Offer spare copies to other players and request fish you still lack.

Fish Index progression includes materials used for the Snowman decoration. Review the next reward threshold before committing more supplies; an exchange may help fill a gap in your collection.

How Ice Pit Control Is Decided

Securing ownership requires defeating the pit boss. If several alliances participate, control goes to the alliance that inflicts the highest total damage—but only once the boss has been killed. Holding first place on the damage rankings is not sufficient while the boss remains alive.

Prepare for the contest by coordinating participation and positions ahead of time. HQs stationed near the pit may become vulnerable to attacks during the fight.

Treat collection progress and ownership battles as separate goals. Even if you cannot help contest a pit, you can still fish and develop your Fish Index.

Prepare for the Season to Finish

Before the event shuts down, activate any outstanding catches and collect milestone rewards you have already earned.

The listed end-of-season recycling returns are:

ItemRecycling return
Common Fishing Pass100 Diamonds
Master Fishing Pass1,000 Diamonds
Fishing Bucket1,000 Diamonds each

Confirm these amounts in your season's item descriptions before planning around them.

Quick Tips

  • Choose fish availability over pit level when filling collection gaps.
  • Fishing remains available even without alliance ownership.
  • Activate new species promptly and use duplicates for exchanges.
  • Follow the event countdown for your local contest start.
  • A pit victory requires both a boss defeat and the highest alliance damage contribution.
  • Claim earned collection rewards before the event ends.
