Mastering Last Z: Survival Shooter's Seasonal Events

Updated October 12, 2026

Navigating the seasonal challenges of Last Z: Survival Shooter requires strategic planning. This guide will help you focus on critical activities and resource management to maximize your progress.

Core Seasonal Priorities

To establish a strong foundation, concentrate on these key areas:

  • Flora Production: Enhance your Bio Greenhouse to boost Fern Leaf output, essential for seasonal structure upgrades.
  • Bio-Resistance: Develop your laboratory's Virus Resistance early to tackle tougher combat targets.
  • Daily Quests: Consistently complete all five Hatch of Legends tasks each day for crucial growth resources.
  • Egg Budgeting: Reserve Ancient Dino Eggs specifically for valuable purchases from the Bio Institute Shop on weekends.

Remember, your chosen companion's attribute bonuses and vehicle appearance are temporary, expiring at the season's conclusion.

Resource Management

Effective resource allocation is paramount. Here's a breakdown of key materials and their uses:

ResourcePrimary ApplicationStrategic Rule
Fern LeavesSeasonal structure advancementGrow Bio Greenhouse output alongside laboratory upgrades
Cretaceous ScalesSeasonal building enhancementsHunt targets that match your resistance and rally power
Ancient Dino EggsBio Institute Shop items and refreshesPrioritize shop goods before paying for stock refreshes
Pet FeedEgg selection and growth accelerationFinish the five daily Hatch of Legends missions
Pine ConesDinosaur leveling in Hatch of LegendsTrack these separately from Pet Feed

Avoid overspending initial construction resources on purely combat buildings if your research progress limits access to more lucrative farming opportunities.

Understanding Seasonal Dynamics

Season 3 is known as Dinosaur Origin, while Season 2 was called Winter / Everfrost. The game's mechanics shift between seasons. For example, Season 2's Bio Lab thresholds are distinct from Season 3's upgrade paths.

When recruiting heroes, consider the specific requirements for Season 3 and any associated pairs. Keep your hero recruitment decisions separate from your resource budget for buildings.

Hatch of Legends

Choose your companion from a T-Rex, Triceratops, or Ankylosaurus egg using Pet Feed. Feeding accelerates its development. Five daily, timed tasks provide additional feed. Each level increases your Season Troop ATK by +1%, capping at +30% at level 30. Your egg hatches at level 6, displays an adult form at level 11, and unlocks a troop skin at level 16. All three species offer identical combat advantages; your choice is purely cosmetic.

The combat advantages and vehicle skin from Hatch of Legends are removed at the end of each season. Factor this into your investment decisions, viewing it as a seasonal combat boost.

Bones & Eggs Boom

At the start of a season, you have 30 daily reward attempts. The Bones & Eggs Boom event reduces these attempts to 15 while doubling the Cretaceous Scales and Ancient Dino Eggs received per successful kill. At the same target power level, 15 doubled attempts yield the same total rewards as 30 regular attempts, meaning your daily egg income remains consistent.

Dino Egg Defense

Each time your Headquarters is breached, you lose 5% of your current Ancient Dino Eggs, capped at 1,000 eggs per breach. This loss is limited to a maximum of two breaches. Your current egg count does not influence the difficulty of incoming waves. Focus on acquiring useful shop items rather than buying unwanted goods to artificially lower your egg balance and wave difficulty.

Aim to survive up to round 23. In some gameplay, approximately 900 million wall defense proved necessary for a full clear. Use this as a guide, not a guarantee. If your HQ cannot hold, reinforce a stronger alliance member and coordinate defenses to survive through round 23.

Dino Rescue

This event occurs every Sunday. During Dino Rescue, your Predator Squad reward attempts increase from the usual two to five. Predator Squads and Black Market Guardians can directly damage your HQ's durability, bypassing guard troops.

Defeating a Predator Squad might reveal a Guardian. The team delivering the final blow to both discoveries and Guardians receives the rewards. After a Guardian is vanquished, alliance members can send scouts to reduce the recovery time of the injured Spinosaurus and collect available gifts once it heals.

Ancient Dinos: Protection, Offense, and Rewards

During the initial shield phase, your troops do not suffer injuries. Once the shield breaks, continue launching attacks and healing any damaged units. Attack attempts are unlimited, and ranking is based on total damage dealt. Fossil rewards extend to the top 200 ranks, with lower brackets still receiving other various rewards.

Boss dinosaurs rotate weekly in a fixed sequence: T-Rex, Triceratops, Pterosaur, Ankylosaurus, and Dimetrodon. Special titles are awarded to the top three damage dealers only when a specific dinosaur is defeated for the first time, not upon every weekly appearance.

Weekly Event Schedule

Plan your activities around these recurring events:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday — Trade Hubs: Refer to specific capture and shop guidelines for details on individual ownership, alliance discounts, and Diamond taxation. Keep your Diamond reserves separate from discretionary spending.
  • Saturday and Sunday — Bio Institute Shop: Spend Ancient Dino Eggs on beneficial items and to advance your collection. Consult shop guides before using paid refreshes.
  • Sunday — Dino Rescue: Utilize all five Predator Squad attempts and coordinate Black Market Guardian rescues.
  • Sunday, 12:00 Apocalypse Time — Ancient Dinos: Focus on breaking the shield first, then launch repeated attacks and heal injured troops. Target a top-200 damage rank for fossil rewards.
  • Volcano War: Follow established combat guides for camp organization, combat windows, and reward distribution.

Clash for Glory: Truce and Ranking

Ensure your Alliance Center I is placed before the war commences; entering without it results in an immediate defeat. Always verify the scheduled battle time and your alliance's Truce Settings. Wars are not scheduled during selected truce periods. If no choice is made, the third offered session is automatically chosen.

To qualify for Contribution Ranking Rewards, you must accumulate more than 150,000 Contribution points. This threshold applies specifically to the ranking rewards tab and is not an exhaustive description of all War Rewards. The displayed ranking table extends up to rank 200.

During the end-of-season Points Rush, the Season Loot Point rate increases from 20% to 25%. This represents a 25% relative increase or 125% of the normal rate while the event is active.
