Last Z: Survival Shooter Volcano War Guide: Timing, Objectives, and Rewards
Updated October 12, 2026
Volcano War brings states together for an objective-driven fight in Last Z: Survival Shooter. Combat opens on Day 6 at 12:00 Apocalypse Time and runs for one hour. Victory depends on Camp Points, while your individual score and Contribution determine separate reward opportunities.
Before fighting, your President handles camp partnerships and spoil agreements. Your alliance then organizes battlefield assignments. Participation requires HQ 15 or above, and troops can die during building combat.
Event Timeline and Leadership Duties
| Phase | When | Main task |
|---|---|---|
| Publicity | Day 1 | Review how states are grouped |
| Comms | Day 2 | Presidents coordinate potential partners; Defenders decide on Hard Mode |
| Invitation | Days 3–4 | Exchange invitations and settle spoil percentages |
| System Allocation | Following the invitation phase | Verify your assigned camp |
| Battle Prep | Day 5 | Organize objective squads and check who can attend |
| Battle | Day 6 at 12:00 Apocalypse Time | Compete during the one-hour combat window |
| President distribution | Days 7–8 | Presidents allocate spoils among alliances |
| Alliance distribution | Days 9–10 | R4/R5 allocate spoils among members |
Use the event's countdown rather than guessing how Apocalypse Time translates to your local clock.
Invitations, Camp Choices, and Hard Mode
A state may have only one pending outgoing invitation. If nobody responds within one hour, it expires. Coordinate with the other President beforehand and settle the spoil division before issuing the invitation, because those agreed proportions govern distribution.
Defenders select Hard Mode in the Comms phase. This choice grants a combat buff but removes their ability to invite partner states. Meanwhile, an attacking camp may include up to three states. Consider whether the buff outweighs losing invited support.
The reward panel shows these pool modifiers:
| Condition | Pool multiplier |
|---|---|
| Successful invitation | ×2 |
| Victory | ×2 |
| Defender Hard Mode | ×3 |
These values modify the reward pool, not every participant's individual payout. Review both the displayed pool and the negotiated allocation before committing to a camp.
States placed into camps through automatic assignment neither enlarge that pool nor qualify for spoils distributed from it.
Entry Requirements, Movement, and Casualties
The battlefield is located in the Defender state, and you must reach HQ 15 to enter.
Keep these movement restrictions in mind:
- At battle opening, HQs already positioned within the combat area are relocated outside it. Return afterward.
- After combat starts, entering from outside costs no teleporters.
- Relocating inside the battlefield is free, with a 5-minute cooldown.
- Cross-state teleport cooldowns are shared across Volcano War, Alliance Duel, and State Duel.
- The central zone permits neither teleporting nor Peace Shields.
Building fights carry a 10% Seriously Injured Rate and a 10% Mortality Rate. Prepare for actual troop deaths rather than treating the event as risk-free combat. These percentages specifically describe building battles.
Building Scores and Battlefield Bonuses
The camp finishing with the highest Camp Points total wins. Personal Points measure individual activity separately; a building's personal scoring rate should not be interpreted as an automatic award to everyone in the camp.
| Objective | Camp Points each second | Personal Points each second | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Volcano Core | 150 | 100 | Main central objective |
| Energy Tower | 80 | 60 | Camp Points +10% |
| Lava Furnace | 80 | 60 | Damage dealt in the area +20% |
| Radiation Warehouse | 80 | 60 | Destruction in the area +50% |
| Lava Pool | 60 | 40 | No additional effect listed |
The Volcano Core offers the highest listed base scoring rates. Other structures combine points with bonuses, so follow your alliance's assignments instead of treating every objective as interchangeable.
Team Capacity and Capture Priority
Each survivor may deploy one team to each building, and each structure accommodates up to ten teams.
Admission favors stronger teams according to their remaining units and power. When multiple alliances contest a structure, the system uses each alliance's top ten teams to calculate Comprehensive Power. The alliance with the largest combined value receives priority for capture.
Coordinating deployments is therefore important: an objective assignment involves both reaching the building and having teams strong enough to gain entry or capture priority.
Earning Personal Points Beyond Structures
Mines and enemy troop defeats provide additional ways to increase your personal total.
| Activity | Personal Points earned |
|---|---|
| Advanced Mine | 20 each second |
| Medium Mine | 10 each second |
| Basic Mine | 5 each second |
| Defeat enemy troops within the Volcano area | 120 for every 10,000 Power defeated |
At 400,000 Individual Points, every personal milestone reward becomes available. Further scoring still improves your ranking, but it does not replace the objective-based Camp Points needed for victory.
Use mining or troop combat when it supports your assigned role. Abandoning a disputed structure just to reach a personal threshold can undermine the camp's score advantage.
Reward Eligibility and Spoil Distribution
Personal ranking payouts require 2,000 Contribution or more. This requirement is distinct from the score that decides the winning camp.
Review each reward category independently:
- Camp victory or defeat rewards.
- Individual ranking rewards.
- Spoils allocated by leadership.
Spoil allocation happens after the fighting ends. Presidents distribute to alliances on Days 7–8, followed by member allocations from R4/R5 on Days 9–10.
An alliance may receive a maximum of 100 spoil shares, while an individual survivor may receive only one. Defenders who win with Hard Mode enabled also earn a 30-day avatar frame.
Quick Tips
- Check the countdown for your local start time: combat begins on Day 6 at 12:00 Apocalypse Time.
- Reach HQ 15 before planning to participate.
- Agree on spoil proportions before sending a state invitation; unanswered invitations expire in one hour.
- If your HQ is removed at battle opening, teleport back afterward.
- Account for the shared cross-state cooldown and the 5-minute restriction on battlefield relocations.
- Budget for casualties when fighting over buildings.
- Prioritize assigned objectives over personal-score detours.
- Target 400,000 Individual Points for all milestones, and verify the separate 2,000 Contribution ranking requirement.
- Revisit reward screens after combat and track both leadership distribution windows.
