Navigating Idyll: Map & Movement

Your journey through Idyll is made easier with robust navigation tools. Understanding these will help you explore efficiently and discover hidden wonders.

Mapping Your World

• Current Location: Always visible on your map, alongside various icons representing points of interest.
• Custom Markers: Place your own markers to highlight specific spots.
• Visibility Filters: Toggle different marker types on or off to declutter your map.
• Aniimo Distribution: Zoom out completely or tap the 'Aniimo Distribution' button to see regional Aniimo collection progress and local weather conditions.
• Direction Indicator: A helpful on-screen guide tracks the real-time direction and distance to your selected target.

Activating Branches and Blooms

Branches are crucial for revealing new areas and enhancing your exploration:

1. Activate a Branch: Interact with a Branch to activate it.
2. Reveal Blooms: Activation reveals Blooms in the surrounding area and unlocks a new map layer with regional data.
3. Lumin Amber Infusion: Once activated, you can infuse a Branch with Lumin Amber to gain various temporary buffs:
   • Increased Aniimo catch chance.
   • Higher Nurture count.
   • Weather manipulation.
   • Boosted Sparkling Aniimo rates, and more.

Blooms are special flowers vital for Prismatic Energy:

• Nurturing Blooms: Use 'Nurture' to bring regular Blooms to a budding state. This requires the Bronze Collection Badge for the area.
• Vein Energy Blooms: Nurturing these triggers a 'Wild Surge.' Catch the spawned Aniimo to collect Prismatic Energy, forming a fruit at the Bloom's core. Releasing this accumulated energy after the surge grants rewards.

Prismatic Energy and Prismana Forms

Prismatic Energy is a regional resource that impacts Aniimo spawns:

• Gathering Energy: Catch Aniimo during Wild Surges to increase a region's Prismatic Energy.
• Lucky Strikes: Occasionally, catching an Aniimo can trigger a 'Lucky Strike,' boosting the region's energy.
• Tier Advancement: As a region's Prismatic Energy rises, higher-tier Aniimo are more likely to appear.
• Prismana Flow: When a region's energy reaches 'Full,' a 'Prismana Flow' appears, attracting powerful Prismana Form Aniimo. These locations are marked with distinct colors.
• Forced Spawns: You can use a Branch's weather-changing ability to directly attract Prismana Form Aniimo.

Fast Travel

Teleportation is key for swift movement:

1. Activate Transporters: Approach and interact with blue icons (Outposts, Branches, Blooms, Sanctums) to activate them. Gray icons turn blue upon activation.
2. Select Destination: Choose any activated blue icon on your map. The system will suggest the closest active transporter and the optimal route.

Camera Modes

Both Creative and Selfie Modes include a 'Camera Menu' for fine-tuning shots. Within the 'Edit Aniimo' screen, you can summon and position Aniimo from your current party before returning to 'Snap Mode' to take the picture.

• Unlocking Entries: Catching an Aniimo for the first time unlocks its Aniilog entry.
• Field Notes: View clues and track target locations through Field Notes entries.
• Topic Research: Monitor research progress for each Aniimo after capture.

• Catching New Aniimo: The most effective method for significant Research Point gains.
• Completing Field Notes: An excellent way to earn points quickly.
• Sparkling Aniimo: Catching these special variants also contributes to your research.
• Topic Research: A simpler, ongoing method to gain points.
• Reporting Findings: Always report completed research and newly caught Aniimo at an Outpost to claim rewards, including Research Points, Credits, and Safaris.

Outposts & Essential Services

• Reporting Center: Report captured Aniimo for Credits and completed research for Research Points and Safaris, boosting your Aniilog and character levels.
• Vendor Joff: Purchase essential adventuring supplies. Higher titles unlock access to advanced items, with some requiring specific currencies.
• Healer Kim: Heal injured Aniimo at the Outpost. Alternatively, Aniimo can recover HP at a Bonfire.

• Quests: Follow quest guidance for easier exploration and diverse rewards. Quests are categorized:
  • Lore: Prioritize these main story quests.
  • Mission: Secondary objectives.
  • Journey: Long-term goals.
• Log: Keep track of all clues gathered during your adventures. These can lead to unique encounters.
• Courses Module: Access tutorial stages to learn game mechanics and earn rewards.
• Elite Training Program: Strengthen your character for easier world exploration.

Co-op & Social Features

• Friends List: Add friends for shared exploration.

• Stamp Rush: Earn Season Stamps by participating in various activities. Stamps have weekly limits per mode and a total weekly limit. Exchange them in the Season Shop for items.

RV Parks & Home Management

Your RV is more than just transport; it's a mobile base of operations.

RV Parks

• Location: Four RV Parks are scattered across Breezy Plains. Find the park keeper to activate and join each one.
• Healing: RV Parks continuously restore your Aniimo's HP.
• Element Essence Buff: Rest in a ride at an RV Park to gain a temporary buff from the park owner.

Home Co-op & Production

• Home Coins: Earn Home Coins by completing Home orders or selling Home products and materials at the Home Co-op Store.
• E-Mode: Upgrade your RV to Level 12 to unlock the RV Electric Module, allowing certain Home facilities to switch to E-Mode.
• Power Grids: Place Crackle Generators and lightning-type Aniimo to supply power. Facilities must overlap with the power range. Use Power Poles to extend coverage, forming grids that share total power, affecting work efficiency.
• Environmental Requirements: Some materials require specific temperatures or lighting. Place suitable environmental facilities (like temperature controls) to cover production areas. Adjust settings in the Details panel.
• Aniimo Production Roles: Assign Aniimo with matching Home Abilities to production facilities for increased efficiency. Keep them fed, as hunger reduces their output.
• Home Management Screen: Fast travel between different Home areas and view detailed information. In the Production Zone, perform batch operations like recipe changes, upgrades, and accelerations.
• Helping Others: Visit other players' Homes to loosen soil for their crops and earn bonus rewards.

Build Mode Tools

Build Mode offers extensive customization for your Home:

• Placement: Drag furniture from the list directly into your Home. Use 'Confirm' for continuous placement of multiple identical items. Array placement is available for items like floors and fences.
• Multi-Select: Enter Multi-Select Mode to select multiple objects by clicking, dragging, or inverting selections. Batch recycle, edit, or save selected objects as a 'Combo'.
• Advanced Settings: Access options like 'Continuous Purchase' (buy and place the next matching piece) and 'Quick Placement' (immediately edit the next piece without confirming).
• Camera & Visibility: Adjust camera height. Toggle visibility states:
  • Full Display: Shows all objects.
  • Camera-Follow Hide: Walls hide as the camera moves.
  • Hide All Walls: Walls above the current camera height are hidden.

Aniimo Management & Growth

Caring for your Aniimo is central to your journey.

Levelling & Evolution

• Leveling Up: Select an Aniimo in the Management screen, then use EXP Items. An Aniimo's level is capped by your character level. Higher character levels allow catching stronger Aniimo.
• Evolution: View an Aniimo's evolution path via its Attributes screen. A marker appears on its avatar when ready to evolve. Evolution requirements only need to be met once.

Aniimo Attributes & Potential

• Innates: After catching and reporting an Aniimo, it receives a rating (Common, Good, Elite, Perfect) based on its total Innate Potential and recommended attributes. Higher potential leads to stronger starting stats.
• Attribute Chart: A six-stat chart displays potential. White indicates innate potential (fixed at capture), while yellow shows acquired growth through 'Capability Awakening.'

Management & Storage

• Aniimo Interface: View, manage, train, and equip your caught Aniimo for battle or exploration.
• Pathfinding Setup: Use the upper-right tab to configure automatic Aniimo switching based on terrain.
• Management Tools: Utilize 'Organize,' 'Filter/Sort,' 'Storage Actions,' and 'Manage' buttons for efficient inventory handling, especially with many Aniimo.
• Release: Pathfinders have a limit on how many Aniimo they can keep. Use the 'Release' feature to return unused Aniimo to Idyll, receiving a farewell gift in return.

Appearance Customization

• Transmog: Change your Aniimo's appearance using 'Radiant Dreamshadow' and 'Glimmering Driftshadow' items. Customization parts include Color, Wings, Body, Headwear, and Effects.
• Part Unlocks: Unlock more transmog parts by reaching cumulative transmog milestones.
