Dragon Traveler Guild Guide: Wars, Expeditions & Auctions Explained
Updated October 12, 2026
Welcome, fellow Dragon Traveler, to our comprehensive guide on Guilds! Joining a guild is crucial for progression, offering unique events, rewards, and a vibrant community experience. From battling colossal bosses to strategic warfare and bidding on rare items, your guild is your key to power.
Guild Fundamentals
A guild is more than just a group of players; it's a strategic hub. Understanding its core mechanics is essential for both leaders and members.
Guild Structure and Growth
- Leveling Up: Guilds gain experience (EXP) directly from member activity. Every point of activity earned contributes to guild EXP, leading to higher guild levels.
- Activity Points: Members generate activity by claiming daily quest chests and performing daily check-ins.
- Activity Tracking: The guild system tracks guild and individual member activity for the past seven days.
- Membership Capacity: A guild's level determines the maximum number of members it can accommodate.
Leadership and Administration
- Creator's Role: The player who initiates a new guild automatically becomes its leader.
- Leader's Authority: The guild leader possesses absolute control, including the ability to promote members to vice leader status or transfer leadership entirely.
- Vice Leader Powers: Vice leaders can approve new member applications and remove existing members.
- Member Limitations: Regular members do not have administrative powers within the guild.
- Leaving a Guild: If you choose to depart a guild, a one-hour cooldown prevents you from joining another immediately.
Impeachment Process
Should a guild leader become inactive, an impeachment procedure can be initiated to elect a new one:
- Initiation by Vice Leaders: If the leader has been offline for 72 hours (3 days), a vice leader can start the impeachment.
- Initiation by Members: If the leader's inactivity extends to 120 hours (5 days), any guild member can initiate it.
- Voting Phase: Once started, the impeachment remains open for 48 hours, during which all members can participate.
- Process Termination: If the inactive leader logs into the game at any point during the 48-hour period, the impeachment is immediately canceled.
- New Leader Selection: If the leader remains offline until the process concludes, a new leader is chosen from participating members based on the following priority:
- Vice leaders first, then regular members.
- Highest member activity score.
- Most recent login time.
- Earliest time joining the impeachment.
- The former leader is demoted to a regular member.
- Failure Condition: If no members participate in the impeachment, it fails, and no new leader is selected.
Guild Mercenaries
Guild members can register their Luminaries as mercenaries, earning fees when others hire them. This system varies depending on the game mode:
- General Mercenaries: In certain game modes, players can spend Gold to hire standard mercenaries. You are typically limited to hiring one mercenary from a specific member per day.
- Expedition Mercenaries: During Guild Expeditions, you can frequently hire special mercenaries offered by other guild members without daily limits.
Guild Expedition
The Guild Expedition is a daily event where members challenge the formidable Sleepless Dragon boss. This mode offers valuable rewards and contributes to guild progress.
- Daily Challenge: The Sleepless Dragon boss becomes available daily.
- Attempt Limits: Each member receives five free attempts per day to challenge the boss.
- Team Composition: You can deploy one main team and up to four support teams. Initially, only the main team and one support team are available. Additional support slots unlock as your highest damage output reaches specific thresholds.
- Luminary Usage: Your main team exclusively uses your own Luminaries. Support teams can use your Luminaries or hired mercenary teams, though hired teams deal reduced damage.
- Faction Bonuses: Two specific factions are favored each day. Including enough Luminaries from these factions across all your teams grants a universal stat bonus. On Sundays, any two factions provide this benefit.
- Rewards: Dealing damage to the boss yields rewards such as World Tree Leaves, dragon shards, and more.
- Ranking: Players are ranked daily based on their best damage dealt, while guilds are ranked by the combined best damage of all their members.
- Daily Settlement: At the daily settlement, you receive personal rank rewards. Additionally, all participating members receive rewards determined by the guild's top damage dealer, who also earns bonus Guild Coins. Members who did not participate receive no rewards.
Expedition Chests
Expedition Chests are a communal reward system tied to cumulative damage against the Sleepless Dragon:
- Chest Generation: For every 10 levels of total damage dealt to the boss, the guild receives an Expedition Chest. Only new damage counts towards generating these chests, not repeated damage on existing levels.
- Claiming Chests: All members can claim chests generated by the guild, including those you personally contributed. Your claims do not reduce the number available for other members.
- Portability: If you switch guilds, any chests you generated on that day will transfer with you to your new guild.
- Claim Limits: You cannot claim more chests than the total generated by all members in your current guild. Moving to a guild with fewer available chests means you might need to wait for more to be generated before you can claim further.
- Unclaimed Chests: Unclaimed chests are sent to members via mail the following day. However, members with zero guild activity for over three days, or those who have left the guild, will not receive them.
Guild War
Guild War is a competitive event where guilds clash strategically for ranking and rewards. Matches occur three times a week.
- Schedule: Guilds are randomly matched on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
- Auction Impact: War results and guild rank influence the items available in the Auction House the following day. Members receive a share of sales proceeds in Diamonds, proportional to their individual performance.
Defence Preparation (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday)
- Defensive Teams: Members must set up two defensive teams, each comprising four Luminaries.
- Deployment: The guild leader or a vice leader assigns members' defensive teams to the guild's various buildings.
- Matching Requirement: A guild can only be matched for war if all central buildings are defended and a sufficient number of members have set defenses.
Battle Days (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
- Attacks: Each defending member is granted three attacks to use against the enemy guild's buildings, with a limit of one attack per building.
- Combat Rounds: Each battle consists of two rounds. Luminaries defeated in a victorious round cannot participate in any further battles during that war.
- Scoring: Damaging a building earns destruction points, which vary by building type. Completely destroying a building awards additional points.
- Fortress Mechanics: An outer building's score bar reflects the combined health and destruction points of all structures located within it, whether manned or not.
- City Access: Once the total score of remaining buildings within an outer fortress falls below its shield-break threshold, the main city situated behind it becomes vulnerable to attack.
- Victory Condition: The guild accumulating the most destruction points wins the war. The outcome and points adjust each guild's score and ranking.
Most Valuable Player (MVP)
Individual performance in Guild War is recognized through the MVP system:
- Attack Points: Every attack, regardless of win or loss, awards 20 MVP points. A victory grants an additional 80 points, while a draw yields 40.
- Defense Points: A successful defense awards 10 points, and a defensive draw provides 5 points.
- MVP Reward: The player with the highest MVP score for the war is designated MVP and receives a reward via mail. In case of a tie, the player with higher total defensive power is awarded MVP.
Guild Conquest
Guild Conquest is a seasonal event focused on challenging powerful bosses and earning points.
- Seasonal Structure: Conquest runs in seasons, divided into an active phase for boss fighting and points, and a break phase for claiming rewards and viewing rankings.
- Ranking Scope: The inaugural season for a server is ranked within that server. Subsequent seasons are ranked across the entire war zone.
- Attempts: You receive three attempts daily, with a maximum storage of nine attempts. These attempts continue to accumulate even if you change guilds.
- Boss Rotation: The boss changes to a new one daily at 5:00 server time.
- Luminary Cooldown: Each Luminary, including hired ones, can participate in combat only once per day. This resets at 5:00 server time.
- Scoring: Damage dealt is converted into points using a specific formula, contributing to rankings.
- Practice Mode: A practice mode is available with unlimited attempts and no Luminary restrictions. However, it does not record points or yield rewards.
- Rewards: Rewards are granted after every fight, for the total number of fights (unclaimed ones are mailed if you leave your guild), and personal and guild ranking rewards are mailed after the main phase. Only players with more than zero points receive guild rewards.
- Conquest Emblems: Earned here, these emblems are spent in the Conquest Store for exclusive items.
Auction House
Dragon Traveler features two types of Auction Houses, both requiring guild membership to access: the Guild Auction House and the World Auction House.
Guild Auction House
- Exclusive Bidding: Only members of your guild can place bids in this auction.
- Schedule: It operates daily from 20:40 to 21:00 server time.
- Item Source: Goods for sale originate from various guild activities. Only members who participated in these activities receive a share of the sales revenue.
- Purchase Limits: Items designated as 'valuable' have a weekly purchase limit.
- Unsold Items: Any items that receive no bids in the Guild Auction House are transferred to the World Auction House, and the guild receives their reserve price.
World Auction House
- Inventory: This auction hosts unsold items from various guilds, along with newly generated rare resources.
- Limitations: There's a cap on the quantity of each unsold item that can transfer from guild auctions, and rare resources appear randomly.
- Schedule: It runs daily from 21:08 to 21:30 server time.
- Disappearing Items: Items that receive no bids in the World Auction House will simply disappear.
Bidding Mechanics
- Options: You can either place a bid or use the 'buy it now' option. The reserve price is the minimum bid, and the buyout price is the maximum.
- Winning: The highest bid at the auction's close secures the item.
- Instant Purchase: Utilizing the buyout option immediately concludes the auction for that specific item.
- Payment & Refunds: Bids are paid immediately upon placement. If you are outbid, your payment is refunded to your account or via mail.
- Item Delivery: Won items are delivered to you via in-game mail.
- Sales Shares: Claim your share of Guild Auction House sales from the relevant interface. Any unclaimed shares are mailed to you at 5:00 the following day.
