MapleStory Classic Founder's Package Guide

MapleStory Classic World’s Founder’s Package offered three paid tiers: Snail, Orange Mushroom, and Zakum, with early entry reserved for the latter two. The purchase window has closed, but owners still need to watch the claim deadlines and the separate timers on unopened rewards.
Editions, Prices, and Availability
Sales ran from 2 September 2026 until 14 October 2026 at 11:59 PM PDT. Higher tiers include the rewards from cheaper editions, so buyers did not need to purchase each bundle separately.

These totals count an outfit set as one reward, rather than counting its individual clothing pieces.
Orange Mushroom was the lowest-priced option with early access. Zakum added more cosmetics, not a longer early-access period.
Rewards Included in Each Tier
The following table lists each edition’s additions. Orange Mushroom also contains the Snail rewards; Zakum contains both lower tiers’ rewards.

All included items serve a cosmetic purpose: none provide stat increases or gameplay bonuses. Characters can wear the cosmetics without job, gender, or weapon restrictions.
The rewards are exclusive to Classic World, and packages cannot be sent to other players as gifts.
Effects, Transformations, and Rings
Glimmer, Glow, and Radiance share a maple-burst design, with progressively larger displays: Glimmer is the smallest, while Radiance spreads the widest.
The Well-Loved outfit includes its own visual effect. The weapons in the Founder’s Thief and Manji’s sets feature effects for jumping and attacking.
Jr. Balrog Invasion changes your character’s appearance into a Jr. Balrog. Unlike the permanent wearable rewards, this consumable has a 90-day expiration.
Zakum’s two rings come through a Founder’s Ring Coupon. Their visuals place wooden labels above and below your character.

Outfits arrive in boxes that remain usable for 30 days. Before opening one, you can move it to another character belonging to your account. Once unpacked, the clothing pieces are permanent and cannot be traded.
The Founder’s Ring Coupon uses the same 30-day opening limit as the outfit boxes.
How Founder’s Access Works
Founder’s Access was included with Orange Mushroom and Zakum, with entry scheduled for 6 October 2026. The Grand Launch date was 21 October 2026.
Access belongs to the purchasing account. It is not a transferable key, and there is no beta code or access coupon to pass to someone else. Eligible players enter through either the Nexon Launcher or Steam.
Early-access characters and progress carry into the Grand Launch without a reset. The pre-launch details did not specify an exact server-opening hour for either date.
Snail provides cosmetics only; it does not unlock the early-access window.
Store Rules and Account Requirements
The Nexon website offered all three editions, while Steam listed only Zakum. Steam’s platform rules did not accommodate Nexon’s tier-upgrade system, so limiting that storefront to the highest edition avoided overlapping lower-tier purchases.
Zakum’s contents and access benefits are identical on both storefronts. Buying it through both does not unlock a different edition or additional access benefits.
Other purchase conditions included:
- A Nexon account was required regardless of storefront.
- Each edition had a purchase limit of once per account on each platform.
- Regional availability covered most places where MapleStory is playable; unsupported locations received a notice during checkout.
- Supported payment options included credit cards, PayPal, Google Pay, Karma Koin, Nexon Game Card, GoCash Game Card, Razer Gold, and other accepted prepaid methods.
Classic World supports Windows and macOS, with the Nexon Launcher and Steam serving as launch options. These bundles were separate from the in-game Cash Shop and its NX purchases.
Upgrade Costs and Restrictions
During the sale, website buyers could pay the price difference to move to a higher edition. Steam did not offer upgrades, and downgrading was not available.

An upgrade delivered only the newly added rewards, not duplicates of previously claimed items. If purchased after early access began, those additions arrived at the player’s next login.
Upgrades closed alongside sales on 14 October 2026 at 11:59 PM PDT.
Claiming Rewards Before They Expire
Your first Classic World login triggers automatic delivery of the package contents. No redemption code is needed.
To collect and open the rewards:
- Leave Maple Island. Your character must complete that step before opening the package.
- Check your in-game mailbox. Unclaimed deliveries remain available until 30 November 2026 at 11:59 PM UTC.
- Retrieve the package before that cutoff. Anything left unopened in the mailbox expires after the deadline.
- Open the retrieved package within 30 days. Taking it from the mailbox starts that opening window.
- Watch the outfit-box and ring-coupon timers. Those containers also have 30-day limits.
The permanent duration applies to the wearable items after opening their containers—not to the boxes themselves. Jr. Balrog Invasion remains the exception, with its 90-day duration.

- Sales and upgrades ended on 14 October 2026, so owners can no longer change tiers through that sale.
