INT, or Intelligence, is the core attribute for Magicians in MapleStory Classic World. It strengthens spell damage, improves MP gained when leveling, and boosts healing and buff potency.

What INT Does for Magicians
INT supports both a Magician’s offensive power and its supporting abilities:
- Spell damage: INT acts as a multiplier for every spell’s magic damage.
- MP growth: It determines how much MP a Magician receives upon gaining a level.
- Healing and buffs: Higher INT increases the strength of healing and buff spells.
These effects give INT a broader purpose than simply raising damage: it also influences the MP gained through leveling and the effectiveness of supportive magic.
Does Any Other Class Use INT?
INT is exclusive to the Magician branch, rather than serving as a secondary attribute elsewhere. Outside that branch, no class:
- Wields weapons whose scaling depends on INT.
- Includes INT in its damage calculations.
- Uses INT to determine accuracy.
That exclusivity distinguishes Intelligence from the other three primary attributes—STR, DEX, and LUK—which have roles beyond their own main branch.
Quick Tips
- Treat INT as the Magician branch’s defining attribute for spell power and level-up MP gains.
- Remember that its benefits also extend to healing and buff strength.
- Do not expect INT to improve another class’s damage, weapon scaling, or accuracy.
- Keep the pre-launch verification status in mind; these details are not launch-confirmed.
