MapleStory Classic Orange Mushroom Package Guide

The Orange Mushroom Package is MapleStory Classic World’s mid-tier Founder’s bundle and was the least expensive option that included Founder's Access. It combines the Snail Package rewards with additional cosmetics and early entry, with the details below based on pre-launch information.
Price and Availability
The bundle takes its name from the Orange Mushroom. Its purchase window has now ended.

Steam offered the Zakum Package rather than this edition. However, buying through Nexon did not restrict players to the Nexon Launcher: Founder's Access also supported playing through Steam.
Included Cosmetics
The Orange Mushroom Package contains all Snail Package rewards, so purchasing both editions separately was unnecessary. Its seven cosmetic reward entries break down as follows:

These rewards provide appearance changes, not stat increases or gameplay bonuses. Characters can equip the cosmetic pieces without job, gender, or weapon restrictions.
Glow and Glimmer
Glow of the Founder occupies the middle tier among the three Founder effects. Its maple burst spreads wider than Glimmer of the Founder, but receiving Glow does not remove Glimmer—you retain both effects.
Founder's Thief Outfit Set
This set contains six pieces:
- Founder's Thief Hat
- Founder's Thief Outfit
- Founder's Thief Boots
- Founder's Thief Dagger
- Founder's Thief Face
- Founder's Thief Gloves
The weapon includes special visuals for jumping and attacking.
The set is delivered inside a box with a 30-day lifetime. Before opening it, you can transfer that box between characters belonging to your account. Opening it grants permanent pieces that cannot be traded.
How Founder's Access Works
Founder's Access began on 6 October 2026, ahead of the 21 October 2026 Grand Launch.
Access belongs to the purchasing account. It is not a transferable key, and entry does not require a beta key or coupon. Eligible players could begin through either the Nexon Launcher or Steam when access opened.
Characters created during this period, along with their progress, carry into the Grand Launch. There is no launch reset for that progress.
Upgrading to the Zakum Package
During the sales window, Nexon purchasers could upgrade their Orange Mushroom Package to the Zakum Package by paying the price difference:

Upgrading supplied only the additional Zakum rewards; previously received items were not issued again. For upgrades purchased after Founder's Access began, the extra rewards arrived at the next login.
The upgrade deadline was 14 October 2026 at 11:59 PM PDT, matching the end of package sales. Downgrading a purchased package was not supported.

- Check your outfit box: Its 30-day lifetime is separate from the permanent items inside.
- Choose the recipient before opening: The box can move between your characters, but its opened contents are untradeable.
- Keep both effects: Glow supplements Glimmer instead of replacing it.
- Expect progress to remain: Founder's Access characters and progression carry forward.
